Development of a service portal for the administrative management of employees
In the course of simplifying internal processes, our customer needed a scalable online service portal for employee administration. Existing business processes were to be automated as far as possible.
The service portal developed by us on behalf of the customer in the DevOps working model focusses on the area of human resources and offers managers and employees a modern control tool. It consists of a frontend and a backend. The frontend is based on Angular as a framework and uses Angular Material as design guidelines.
In order to create an efficient and maintainable data model, which maps all the necessary business processes in a versatile way, we were required to combine both technical and specialised knowledge. The PMO was technically supported in its tasks by the Atlassian stack, which planned the development sprints in Jira, for example. A particular focus here was on close coordination between the front end and back end in order to be able to develop these two large applications in parallel and in an agile manner.
Various best practices were applied when designing the application as a website in order to make operation intuitive and barrier-free and the design modern and easy to understand.
