The Consequence

The success of the digital transformation requires far-reaching changes to existing work processes. This requires a massive rethink and the consistent, goal-oriented application of previously unknown and therefore not yet internalized working methods.

On closer inspection, long-established and proven processes are often no longer suitable for implementing an effective and efficient value chain that also takes into account the interests of all stakeholders.

In the future, information technology will require even greater interaction between organization and people on the one hand and information and technology on the other. This often means letting go of old “silo thinking” in favor of newly emerging cross­functional teams.
